Jean Greer McCarthy was asked to present at the recent Urban Developers Institute Alberta conference.  Her topic, "Is Small the New Big?", was a presentation focused on the changing needs of the consumer and the evolution of housing in the Southern Alberta Region.  Key insights into the relationship between population and housing demand were discussed as well as the effect of building code changes and government regulations on the type of housing that is currently built.  Jean enjoyed her time she was able to spend in helping developers understand the needs of builders.  If anyone is interested in her presentation, please contact her at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
